While PUE is a valuable metric for assessing energy efficiency, it has limitations. It does not account for the efficiency of IT systems and can lead to misleading conclusions if used in isolation. For example, reducing IT load without balancing infrastructure load can result in a higher PUE. Therefore, it's important for data centers to consider a broader range of sustainability metrics.
